Hello Karl-! I have been living in TX for almost 10years, but I still have hard time adjusting to the TX weather. There are too many ups and downs in a temperture, like, one day we had over 90F temperture and the very next day we had 60F. It's not unusual to see a 30-degree drop off in temperture in TX. Of couse a lot of people get sick when a temperture drops off in a huge degree in one day. I really miss a weather in japan that has a beautiful 4 seasons. By the way, I don't know about the old film "Giant" that you mentioned...Well, to me, TX is just big, the biggest states in the U.S. with huge oil money and lots of red-necks! Hahah!!
