Haha, Kaori, you did too much "karaoke"! I sometimes sing song in my car...I like Yano Akiko. Her voice makes me relax....I like listening to the instrumental music a lot. Does anyone know Soh Band?? Not many people know about them, but they are REALLY good!!!

I used to live in California for a year to work, and now missing English so badly. I am reading E books daily basis, but it's not enough to keep up my skill. Do you guys have any good idea? I wish I am brave enough to talk to "gaijin" people on streets, but unfortunately I am not (so far).

July 4th is an Independence Day in America, as you already know. There are lots of parades, fire works and parties in all different states. Unfortunately, due to the recent accident of forest/mountain fires, there are 5-6 states announced a fire work regulation this for the july 4th this year. I am not sure if i'm going out to watch the fire work show in my town tonight (may be not, i'm just lazy...hehe)
What is the next big holiday in Japan...I'm thinking...."Obon"??

Recently, I have become addicted to watch YouTube.com, where you can watch all sorts of video clips and communicate with others. You all probably know about this site already, don't you? Anyways, I love to watch the video clips of japanese animation and racing cars (like, WRC, street racing etc.). As I'm living in the U.S., I often realize how wonderful it is to have such a sub-culture like animation in Japan. There is a huge admiration towards Japanese animation (so called-"Japa-nimation") in America. I miss living in Japan the most when I feel like going to a bookstore and check lots of books, weekly/monthly magazines, comic books etc.. I always have to order Japanese books through online book store and they usually sell books/DVDs a lot expensive than their original prices.

For me, communicate with Asian people is not so difficult but Indial people. May be their way to speak is same as your middle east people's intonation.
